activities play a vital role in the development of a child and they cannot be
overstated. The
development
of child is in the hands of parents and as well as the teachers. They are the
actual key
holders to
unlock the full potentials with engagement in regular physical activities.
These activities are
not just
to burn off their excess energy but to nurture a child’s physical health and
cognitive growth.
PHYSICAL HEALTH AIDS
The very
first thing that engaging children in physical activities keeps them healthy
and their weight starts
to reduce
as they start to involve themselves frequently. The risk of attack of diseases
like chronic illness
diabetes,
heart disease decreases later in life. Due to these activities bones and
muscles get strengthened
and also
the muscles in heart and other organ gets strengthened too. This enhancing
flexibility and
coordination.
Motivating children for participation in an outdoor activity means to encourage
the laying
foundation
for a life of good health and habits.
HORMONAL CHANGES

activities play vital role in improving the secretion of good hormones in
children. By good
hormones I
mean the release of endorphins which are also known as “feel-good hormones”,
that are

in eradicating depression, stress and anxiety. Children start feeling
self-esteemed and confident
in getting
their goals achieved and develop new skills. Exposing them to sunlight through
activities help
to built
their bones.
INTELLECTUAL

Physical
activities have key role in intellectual development that benefits in several
dimensions. It helps
to improve
memory and enhances concentration. Children get the skill of problem solving and
do take
part in problem solving tasks and that makes them creative. They become much talented to solve
physical obstacles, rules and their social interaction improves. Hence these interactive method of
learning and experiences nurtures brain and its development which prepares children to get in every
obstacle of their life.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT:
Physical activities have a crucial importance and involvement in developing social skills and in
creating a team to learn. Working in peers or in a team also helps to build the self-confidence and make
them able to generate interactive strategies. In this way children do get experience to collaborate, to
solve their issues above all they learn the basic aim of education which is they learn to respect others
and their perspectives. These things develop interpersonal skills which are important in becoming a self-
dependent personal, to create compassion and build friendship which is essential in creating links in a
diverse social environment.
FAMILY SUPPORT:
Besides
forcing on getting educational skills, families must encourage physical activities
for their
children.
Children need support and assistance in taking part in physical activities and
parents should
create environment to give priority to physical activities. Such events can be created by giving children
a regular physical education class or by taking part in extracurricular sports programs. We have to be
exemplary for
our children by taking part in the same activity that child like to perform.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT:
To promote
physical health in children, they need proper education in outdoor and indoor
games.
Children
need to get proper training in maintain weight, in hoe to strengthen their
muscles and bones.
They need to take care of their organs and also how to improve cardiovascular fitness. Such training
help them to go in right direction and also creates interest and also help them to reduce health issues like
diabetes,
obesity and other health issues.
EFFECTS ON BODY FUNCTIONS:
As it is
mentioned some of benefits of physical activities in body functions. Here I will
discuss some
hormonal changes that occurs while physical activities. It helps and stimulates release of different
positive secretions like endorphins, that promotes feelings of happiness and minimize stress. It also
helps in reducing anxiety and depression which is common in children now days. Exposing them to
sunlight help to build the bones of children creating a positive gesture, impact mental health.
CONCLUSION:
Physical
activities are the basic part of a child’s all inclusive development that helps
to nurture physical
and mental health. It improves emotional stability and social competencies. Giving priority for the
active lifestyles gives an opportunity to empower children for now and for their future. One should put
his efforts to encourage their children for physical activities to nurture strong bones, muscles,
empathetic heart, resilient minds in future generations. In this way we can motivate and empower our
children to involve in key aspects of life. This will help to excel in their material education and ethical
nurturing.
